O God Our Help in Ages Past,

Our Hope for Years to Come.

St. John Lutheran Church, ELCA

The  first Lutherans, in Richmond, were German immigrants and skilled woodworkers.  The Chancel, Altar, relief carvings of the Last Supper, Apostles, Baptismal Fount, Lectern and Pulpit reflect our heritage.

If you are visiting St. John Lutheran Church, we extend a very special welcome to you and invite you to worship with us again. Each week our Sunday morning worship is at 10:30 am.

Communion: Our Congregation celebrates Holy Communion most every Sunday. We believe that our risen Lord is present, and that we receive His body and blood in bread and wine. This nourishes our faith, guarantees forgiveness of sins, and prepares us to live out our mission. All baptized persons who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are welcome to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion with us.
